How it works

The use of an Audience Response System involves providing each member of your audience with a keypad or handset like one of the examples shown on the right. This allows instant consultation to occur with everyone at any stage during your event.

Results can be displayed immediately allowing instant feedback. Questions and multiple choice answers will be displayed on the projector screen and the audience will simply press the button (or series of buttons) that corresponds to their answer.

Text messaging is also available via our Messenger handset.

Fitting In

Audience Response questions and results appear within standard PowerPoint presentations. This has many advantages:

  • Seamless – Interactive voting slides can be incorporated into existing presentations.
  • Style – Interactive voting slides will automatically follow the template of the PowerPoint presentation ensuring fonts/colours and layouts are respected.
  • Speed – New slides can be added or existing ones edited with ease.
  • Post-event – You do not need any special software to view the interactive presentation. All charts/results are visible from any computer with Microsoft PowerPoint and you can take a copy away as soon as the event finishes.

Matter of Opinion

Often the most effective use of the group response system is simply to ask the audience’s opinion.

For example, if the entire sales team is gathered in the room, why not spend a couple of minutes finding out what everybody thinks of the new sales targets or the current bonus structure?

Using the voting system allows you to discover exactly what the audience is thinking, and this can be done anonymously if necessary. Without peer pressure the quality and accuracy of feedback is extremely high. It presents a valuable opportunity to reinforce key messages and address any potential issues during the course of the meeting.
