PowerQ

In addition to being the most powerful and versatile interactive software package on the market, PowerQ is also the most user-friendly and easy to operate. So confident are we of these claims that licensed users of our equipment receive free technical support during office hours, with no limit on length or quantity of calls.

Similarly, if a client would just like some ideas or guidance on how best to use their system for a particular scenario, then we are more than happy to talk it over with them and suggest one or more options.

Clients can also suggest features or functionality that they would like to see included within PowerQ, and these are all considered in the ongoing development of the software.

Handsets

We offer a service warranty to ensure our clients’ equipment is always in excellent condition. It includes an annual check-up of all their hardware, including free battery replacement where necessary. Handsets are also updated with the most recent firmware.

On the rare occasion when something does go wrong, we will send them replacement hardware to cover for the faulty hardware whilst it is being repaired. This means that our clients will never be short of handsets for their events.

Training

We offer custom training days for all our clients, whether they wish to concentrate on the basics of the PowerQ software or for example get to grips with Excel data analysis. New clients receive a day’s training with their purchase and existing clients can benefit from periodic refresher courses.

Meeting Support

Should you need extra handsets for a larger audience, or extra base stations to operate in multiple locations, we can supply these. The hired equipment will be delivered to you already configured to work seamlessly with your own hardware.

If operating the audience response system yourself at your meeting is impractical, our sister company Group Dynamics can supply system operators to ensure you get the most from your meeting. Group Dynamics has over 25 years’ experience of supplying and operating audience response systems for meetings and events all over the world for clients in every sector and can advise you on how to get the most benefit from using Xtol hardware in your event.

Additional Services

Given that we design and build both the hardware and the software here in the UK, we can tailor our products to exacting requirements.

Software development kits, expansion modules, and Adobe Flash countdown timer graphics are some of the items available for clients who wish to expand even further their use of the systems.

We have also created custom hardware and software for several different clients and scenarios, so feel free to talk to us if you have a specific idea or requirement.

EEPROM Programmer

This software was produced for keypad hire companies to manipulate keypad bank, encryption and identity numbers en masse. Automatically numbers keypads sequentially in various groups and allows multiple keypad systems to operate on different channels. Although rough and ready, this software is easy to use and we offer it free of charge to Series 8 owners.

To use, download the EEPROM programmer ZIP file and unzip the contents into your current Series 8 KPL directory. Make a shortcut to the program EEPROG.EXE. You may need to set some entries in the EEKPSYS.INI file before starting EEPROG.EXE (such as the serial port number).
